I have received my patchwork leather wallet from Jypsea Leathergoods, and upon first look, I was overly excited. When I unwrapped the yellow paper, I was overcome by the smell of authentic leather! I am a clutch girl, so for me personally, this item is ideal for the fall. With a rich, autumn color scheme, the neutral colors of brown, olive green, taupe and gold can bring life to any outfit. I imagine myself wearing my best fall trench and rider boots with my patchwork Jypsea leather wallet posing as a clutch wallet.
As I opened to examine further, I found the suede (leather) made the wallet more durable. The stitching is also impeccable! I am starting to love the product even more. When I look into all the wonderful items the designer Meca Mckinney has created this fall for the new Jypsea Leathergoods, I know it will transcend all expectations. Congrats on all future success Jypsea!!
Overall, I give the product an overall five stars!! I love the detail, colors, and the fact that maintenence is low. Meca you are great at what you do! Make sure to follow Jypsea Leathergoods on twitter @jypseadotcom and l

I remember when this artist recorded and heard his voice on wax for the very first time, believe me it was a humbling experience for us all. Damien Crawford is young, fresh, and bold new face with the sound that embodies all genres of music from hip hop, to r&b, and even rock. He is sure to make a splash on the music scene.
BiBi: Where are you from? Where did your name originate?
I was born and raised in Piscataway, New Jersey.
Even though Damien is not my birth name, it is one of the names my mother chose for me. When I was older, she told me she was going to name me Damien when I was born. I felt such a strong connection to that name that soon after, I started telling everyone my name was Damien. Crawford is my grandmother’s maiden name. It has such an old Hollywood sound, full of star quality.
BiBi: How would you describe your music?
My music is a mix of R&B, hip-hop, pop and even rock. I like to refer to it as Urban pop. I wanted to create a sound that incorporated my favorite genres and speak to the masses.
BiBi: Who were your childhood influences?
I grew up in the 90’s so I fell in love with artists like Brandy, Monica, Jodeci, R.Kelly, Destiny’s Child etc.
-what is your first experience with music?
I grew up playing instruments like the saxophone & piano at the age of 11. Once I started I was hooked. I learned how to play more instruments, write sheet music, and soon after I knew I wanted to sing.
-what type of music did you listen to?
I listened to a lot of R&B and pop. I loved music from artists like Boyz II Men to Britney Spears and even Alanis Morissette.
BiBi: Why did you decide to pursue your music?
Music makes me happy. Its something that excites me and keeps my creative juices flowing. Music is forever evolving and it constantly gives me new ways to express myself.
BiBi: What can the people expect from your music?
I am all about putting on a show. I love dramatics, and high energy performances so thats what people can always expect from Damien Crawford. I want people to be completely entertained when they come to my shows. From vocals, to dance, to theatrics, I will always give my audience 110% of me.
BiBi: What would you describe as your biggest break in music thus far?
My biggest break thus far would be opening for pop superstar Neon Hitch in Baltimore. There were over 5,000 people in the audience so that was a huge show for me.
I’ve also been featured in a few magazines and newspapers but as cheesy as it sounds, another one of my biggest moments was running in to Ty Hunter (Beyonce’s Stylist) and him telling me that him and Beyonce loved my live rendition of End of Time in Baltimore. Check it out on Youtube!
BiBi: If signed, how much creative control would you want over your career?
I’d like to maintain a pretty large amount of control over my career. An artist is his/her best when he or she is being themselves. I want people to know Damien Crawford as an artist, not who a label thinks Damien Crawford should be.
BiBi: Thinking back what are some life changing events that help influence your music?
Losing my grandmother was the most devastating event in my life. I pull form this experience for intense, emotional lyrics to incorporate in my music.
I have experienced horrible break ups which help me create songs relatable to people who have ever endured relationships. On the flip side I’ve also experienced love, which helps me write songs that give people hope and stroke the need for companionship.
BiBi: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I’d love to be an established, signed artist making music, acting, and developing my brand.
BiBi: Fill in the Blanks
Without music I’d be UNFUNFILLED
Music is MY PASSION
My music makes me feel HUMAN
I write music because IT HELPS EXPRESS HOW I FEEL
Support my music because I ENSURE IT IS TOP QUALITY, RELATABLE, AND FRESH!
With a bright future in tow, Damien has plans to take his music to the next level! Make sure you go watch out for his music, and follow him on twitter @DamienCrawford.
Everyone loves fashion, but everyone does not know how to put things together. A young lady, by the name of LaKeesha Jackson, a Washington DC native has got a line of handmade jewelry that would put most jewelers to shame. From handcrafted hoops with the continent of Africa in them, to suede, fringe earrings that hang from your ear past your shoulders Adorn by Genre is definitely ahead of its time. The style so transcending it will make any fashionista turn heads.
I took a gander through all of the jewelry and realized no two pieces are exactly the same, and most can be made to order. I will say as the consumer, it’s always a plus to be able to always get what you want. LaKeesha is a former college classmate of mine and her style was always fashion forward, so it is only fitting that her jewelry match her style; natural hair, fashionable tights, and trendsetting jewelry. Currently Adorn by Genre is carried by small boutiques in the DC/Baltimore area: Chic Hit The Fan and The Grind House Juice Bar. Check out her Facebook here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Adorn-By-Genre/279324892103681 and make sure to place your order! Be sure to check out the gallery below:

I would like to wish Adorn by Genre the best in their future endeavors!
I spent the day with my sister K. Kearran at her booth at the Premier Dance Theatre’s 2012 recital, and I must say it was an awesome day start to finish! Now being the fashion forward girl I am, I could not help but to take notice of all the nice things that were at my fingertips! I am the first to say I LOVE ACCESSORIES, but my sister K.Kearran loves them so much more.
K. Kearran talked of wanting to expand her constantly growing business, but a good sister never tells the business secrets of loved ones. I will say this though, as her acting marketing manager, her ideas are creative, young and fresh for today’s fashionista. She has an amazing outlook on how to make her business better, and under the teachings of our mother she understands the power of the network. I watched as she went and patronized a few of the vendors that were present’s things. She was taken by the woman sitting across the vending station, and went over to say hello. I could tell by my sister’s heavy laughter and radiant smile that she had met a future mentor. The woman, who had some of the most beautiful handmade pieces that I’ve ever seen, schooled my sister on more cost effective ways to display her jewelry and how to scout out an event. My sister was completely in awe and definitely using her listening ears.
I predict KearranTheory Boutique will be one of the most competitive accessory e-commrce businesses because it’s inexpensive but definitely quality jewelry. I am a customer and a fan! Go to Facebook and “LIKE” the page www.facebook.com/kearrantheoryboutique.
We would like to wish Ms. K.Kearran and all of KearranTheory Boutique much continued success!
